The martians are coming!!!

This is my version of the Martian tripods from H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds.

The martians themselves are described mostly as slimy blobs. I’ve always pictured them as something along the lines of a three legged octopus. On earth, the aliens have to move around inside giant tripods, due to the stronger gravity, and the grabber arms are used to scoop up unsuspecting humans. The tripods are designed to slightly mirror the martians’ appearances.
